The Lebanese Foreign Ministry issued a statement describing the bombing of the international airports of Damascus and Aleppo as a flagrant violation of international laws and regulations.

Lebanon stated that these aggressions constitute a direct threat to peace and security in the region and reiterated solidarity with Syria.

In mid-August, Lebanon denounced the threat to its sovereignty and the continuous violations of its airspace by Tel Aviv to conduct strikes against Syria.

The Federation of Air Transport Unions in Lebanon rejected the silence of the world and even its complicity with Israel’s arrogance of flying over Lebanon and attacking Syria.

The entity held the Israeli state and its supporters responsible for any disasters that occur in Lebanese airspace as a result of these terrorist acts.

Israel carried out 23 attacks against Syria this year, the most recent against the Aleppo international airport in the north of the country, causing its decommissioning.
