Venezuela prepares for the Havana International Fair

Caracas, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) With an exhibition pavilion of almost three thousand square meters, public and private companies from Venezuela are getting ready to participate in the International Fair of Havana (Fihav 2022), local media revealed today.

At the largest multisectoral exhibition of the Caribbean island, the South American state will attend with various productive sectors of the country, which will bring proposals in the areas of manufacturing, agri-food, chemical products, electrical materials, plastics, logistics services, textile metals, among others.

The Foreign Trade Bank of Venezuela (Bancoex) disclosed through its YouTube channel that in recent days they held the first day of work to define the participation of the different sectors of the national business community, published by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

Guillermo Lara, director of Bancoex, highlighted the importance for that financial entity of the presence of the exportable offer in this 38th edition of the Havana International Fair, which enables new business opportunities and will strengthen commercial exchange.

According to the manager, this appointment is very relevant for relations between Cuba and Venezuela, within the initiative called commercial diplomacy, the AVN indicated.

Caracas and Havana maintain an extensive exchange of cooperation in different sectors that include health, economy, education, sports, communication, food, science and energy.

This reciprocity is supported by the Comprehensive Cuba-Venezuela Cooperation Agreement that emerged in October 2000 at the initiative of commanders Fidel Castro (1926-2016) and Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) under the principles of solidarity, brotherhood and complementarity.

Official data from the island revealed that up to October of last year, official cooperation projects amounted to 1,487, and more than 255,000 collaborators served in Bolívar lands.
