According to the health ministry´s latest report, 232 men and one woman have been infected with the disease.

The report said that about 2,700 people, the highest risk group, were already vaccinated against monkeypox.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported last week a 21% decrease of monkeypox toll globally.

To date, the WHO has reported more than 45,000 cases in 98 countries since end-April.
