In that sense, the Cuban leader highlighted the Caribbean nation’s participation as an observer in the Pharmacopoeia Committee of the Eurasian Economic Council, a favorable platform for the mutual exchange of points of view on issues related to health and related technical standards.

He also highlighted the progress of exchanges between representatives of the Mariel Special Development Zone and the Eurasian Economic Commission, to learn about the experience of each of the parties in anticipation of establishing a joint trade relationship.

About this issue, he highlighted the interest of four countries of the bloc in creating an EAEU Industrial Park in the Caribbean nation.

The prime minister stressed that the Cuban authorities are aware of the need to accelerate the implementation of projects in the agricultural sector related to the production and marketing of cow’s milk and chicken meat.
