According to the MINSAP website, 242 of 243 active cases nationwide are clinically stable, while one seriously-ill patient is being treated at an intensive care unit.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 87 patients were discharged from hospitals, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,101,386 (99.2 percent of all cases).

It added that 414 patients are in hospitals or at home nationwide, 171 of whom are suspected cases.

According to the official report, no deaths were reported as a result of the disease in the last 24 hours, so the death toll remains at 8,530.
