Deputy Public Health Minister Eladio Perez told the press that just two of those already infected are still admitted at the Ramon de Lara Hospital.

The first case of monkeypox in the country was reported on July 6. It was about a 25 year-old individual who caught the disease in the United States.

Among main symptoms are fever, headache, tiredness, chills and rash.
