The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate stated that the move seeks to impose the Israeli curriculum and colonial narrative at schools to Jerusalem citizens.
The action is a new episode in the attempts to annex Jerusalem and the struggle against Palestinian history, it stated.
For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem claimed that Tel Aviv wants to forcibly impose its curriculum after failing to convince students and parents.
The Ministry of Education also questioned the order, recalling that it violates one of the basic rights guaranteed by the international conventions, covenants and agreements.
