“They attacked Kajovka, but the hydroelectric plant was not damaged. They attacked the nearby bridge, but nothing was damaged there, everything is fine,” the official told the TASS agency.
Stremousov specified that the Darievka bridge over the Ingulets River bombarded by the Ukrainian armed forces is of no strategic importance, it is intact and traffic is not blocked. He also stated that the enemy attack left no wounded.
The official, on the other hand, questioned whether the Ukrainian troops are capable of handling the technology of the HIMARS launchers, and stated that he was sure that the bombings were carried out by US specialists.
“It’s not the Ukrainians who are shooting, it’s Americans who are shooting using (the launchers). That’s for sure, because there is a sophisticated satellite guidance system, which strikes with precision. Any fool can push a button, but in this case you have to work with a complex system,” Stremousov said.
He argued that these are systems sent by the United States that arrived a few days ago, without any time for the Ukrainian troops to have the expertise to operate them.
Stremousov specified that without a doubt the bombardments are “the work of the Americans who dream that this war will last forever.”
