“Biden and Lapid declared that the occupation, the Jewish supremacist regime and the continuation of cooperation with the dark regimes will continue,” the MP wrote on Twitter.
Instead of talking about true peace and the dismantling of weapons of mass destruction in the world and in our region in particular, they promote violence, he said, and affirmed that his caucus will continue the fight for justice and peace.
Biden and Lapid signed the Jerusalem US-Israel Strategic Partnership Joint Declaration between the United States and Israel on Thursday, reiterating the White House’s commitment to maintaining the military supremacy of Israel in the region.
It also threatens the use of force against Iran and militias such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad while promoting Israel’s insertion in the area through the continuation of agreements to normalize relations with Arab countries.
The two sides also promised cooperation on “cutting-edge defense technologies such as high-energy laser weapon systems.”
The new document was rejected by Palestinian groups as an instrument of the occupation. The proposal is another chapter of terrorism directed “against our land, our people and our holy places,” the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said in a statement.
