The volunteer work was convened by the Union of Young Communists (UJC) as part of the activities in commemoration of the 69th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks.
University students and outstanding young people from various sectors took part in the activity along with the president, who discussed with them the country’s tasks in the current context.
The UJC is carrying out this weekend a program of activities that included a bicycle ride for peace, on Saturday, concerts and support tasks for production and services.
