During the operation, which was carried out between May and June in conjunction with the Ministry of the Interior and the National Guard, a network of 116 individuals in 43 clandestine workshops dedicated to modernizing weapons and manufacturing ammunition was dismantled. According to the FSB, four machine guns, 19 assault rifles, 20 submachine guns, 178 pistols and revolvers were seized, as well as an 82-millimeter infantry mortar and two anti-tank weapons.
The authorities also found five anti-tank mines, more than 28 kilograms of explosives, 162 hand grenades, 494 artillery projectiles and more than 40,000 rounds of ammunition.
