Brazilian supporters of Cuba praise Prensa Latina

Brasil, Cuba, felicitaciones, Prensa Latina
Brasilia, Jun 16 (Prensa Latina) The Brazilian Committee of Solidarity with Cuba praised Prensa Latina on its 63rd anniversary, following a paradigm of ethical journalism and at the service of the peoples.

A communiqué from the Committee sent to the office of PL in Brasilia assesses that the agency remains “faithful to the slogan of the revolution itself of serving the humble and informing the humble with truths about everything happening in the world.”

The Committee assured that people and entities in Brazil acting in defense of a better and fairer world enjoy the existence and the daily informative fight of the agency, which remains intact and adheres to its founding principles.

“Congratulations to Prensa Latina, its workers, journalists and collaborators for maintaining this vehicle that is so important for all of us and especially for our Great Homeland, that Latin America so brave and so loved.”

Prensa Latina was described as the agency that was needed, has more than 40 correspondents worldwide, and became a news outlet of recognized journalistic influence.

Historians point out that the media outlet was born with a defined Latin American imprint and its founder and first director, the late Argentine journalist Jorge Ricardo Masetti, detailed its editorial line as “objective, but not impartial”, because – as he emphasized – one cannot be impartial before the good and evil.

Under the premise “at the service of truth”, Prensa Latina currently publishes over 400 daily articles in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Italian and Russian on a wide range of topics.
