According to the ministry, the Palantin electronic warfare complex is capable of shooting down Ukrainian drones by blocking cellular com centers and Internet sources at command posts.

This new system operates at over 20 km, and not by using a directional beam but with a point, so it can suppress com sources and Internet at enemy command posts without damaging civilian infrastructure.

The defense ministry also enlightened that, independently Palantin can detect and shoot down enemy drones by intercepting their signals and activating jamming means, causing drones to lose contact with operator on the ground.

Plus, Palantin can allow and cancel radio communication lines, including digital ones. It is two or three times superior to Russia´s old electronic warfare systems and at the moment has no analogues for its combat capabilities in any Army.
