During the tenth working day, the lawmakers learned about the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget for 2021 and early this year, as well as the implementation of Resolution number 42 on the pilot management of irrecoverable debts of the credit institutions.
Already at the opening session of the conclave, VNA news agency pointed out, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh presented a report about the result of the implementation of the 2021 socio-economic development plan and highlighted that the average consumer price index (CPI) increased hardly a 1.84 percent, standing at the lowest level since 2016.
Meanwhile, the state budget revenues totaled 70 billion dollars, an increase of 8.8 billion dollars over the previous fiscal year, and the foreign direct investments in the country recorded an increase of 25.2 percent.
On Tuesday, the Vietnamese Parliament discussed the drafts of amendment and complementation of several articles of the Intellectual Property Law, as well as those on the Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence Act (amended) and on the Implementation of Grassroots Democracy Act.
In the discussions on the first of these items, Hoang Thanh Tung, a member of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee and Chairman of the legislative body’s Legal Affairs Committee, reported that the Government proposed to amend Clause 2 of Article 7 of the aforementioned legislation.
