The teacher also thanked that this type of visit allows to strengthen the bond initiated with Panamanian graduates in higher education centers in the Caribbean country, bonds that will continue to strengthen.
They also specified that the province of Veraguas will host the 23rd National Meeting of Solidarity with the island in October of this year.
For his part, González thanked the displays of affection and support for the just cause of rejection and the demand for an end to the hostile extraterritorial policy of harassment, with which Washington has been trying to break the Cuban people for more than six decades, but always ends with failures.
The meeting held in the city of Los Santos was also attended by the head of the National Coordinator for Solidarity with Cuba, Aníbal Lara; and the leaders of the provincial chapters of Coclé, Oscar Ortega; and from West Panama, Javier Medina.
During the tour of the territory, the diplomats were also received by the deputy governor of Los Santos province, Hermes Espino, with whom they identified new areas of cooperation in the sphere of science and sustainable development projects.
