Autana governor Miguel Rodriguez along with Mayor Jhonny Cayupare toured the region to define problems and generate plans to strengthen the development of the locality.
Autana is one of the seven municipalities into which the Amazonas state is divided, whose capital is Isla Raton.
It is part of the Guiana Shield and constitutes a sacred mountain for the Piaroa indigenous populations (known as the Tree of Life).
It has one of the major natural attractions, the Autana Hill, a figure in the form of a trunk that on the top has a variety of wild flowers, carnivores, and a lagoon of black water that complements the natural landscape is located at its feet.
