The leaders will come from Catatumbo, Arauca, Nariño, Choco, Cauca, Magdalena Medio, Sur de Cordoba, Buenaventura, among others, to raise a voice of help due to the alarming rise in violence that those territories, historically affected by criminality, are experiencing.

They will ask the new Government resulting from the May 29 elections to implement territorial humanitarian mechanisms, recognize the effects of the conflict in the country and particularly in those areas, and build a peace by and for the territories.

In recent weeks, the media have reported different violent events in Putumayo, Cauca, Arauca, Catatumbo and other areas, however, the events are recorded as just one more and there are no solutions, the leaders say in a communique.

For this reason, the Humanitarian Agenda seeks to promote a joint coordination mechanism to set the foundations for an agreement to humanize the territorial conflict, they point out.
