Cuba has accumulated 1,091,063 contagions with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, and 8,510 deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020.
According to Friday’s report, 8,129 patients are in hospitals or at home, 4,491 of whom are suspected cases, 19 remain under epidemiological surveillance and 3,619 are confirmed active cases.
Of these, 3,586 have a stable clinical evolution, while nine are critical and 24 are seriously ill.
The MINSAP said that 774 patients had been clinically discharged, so 1,078,875 patients have recovered from the disease, accounting for 98.9 percent of all cases over the past two years.
In order to deal with the epidemiological situation, Cuba is continuing the Covid-19 vaccination process at an accelerated pace and reinforcing the schemes already completed.
