“Today, national information is currently experiencing a unprecedented impact,” the SBU said in a statement, while considering such a combination of events as “another powerful wave of hybrid warfare.”
According to SBU, this is an attempt to sound an alarm in Ukrainian society and undermine faith in the State’s capacity to protect its own citizens. Panic is being encouraged through social media.
SBU sorted out that Kiev analyzes various possible scenarios, taking into account the incidents, and also assured that an action plan is being orchestrated by one of them. So, the Security Service urged Ukrainians to keep calm and not succumb to incitements.
In recent days, the United States, Australia, Great Britain (UK), Germany, Canada, Japan, Spain, among other nations, announced the evacuation of some officials and relatives from their embassies and consulates in Kiev.
Other governments urged their population not to visit Ukraine in the coming days. Such decisions were described by local authorities as hasty and unreasonable.

Speeches by Western politicians, diplomats and the media about alleged Russian invasion have escalated over the past two months, actions Moscow condemned.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitri Peskov called the strategy as an empty and unfounded escalation of tension, and stressed that Russia is not a threat to any government.
