On the occasion, the diplomat conveyed to Miyara a congratulation message from Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National People’s Power Assembly of the Republic of Cuba, for his recent appointment to the legislative body, the Cuban Embassy noted.
Cuba and Morocco restored diplomatic relations on April 21, 2017, with an agreement signed at the headquarters of the Cuban Permanent Mission at the United Nations.
Representatives of both countries have expressed interest in developing bilateral relations and cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields, among others.
