According to the text, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry spoke over the phone with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shoukry expressed his condolences for the fatalities while he rejected the raid, which he described as an act of terrorism.
Yemeni rebels claimed responsibility for the Monday’s attack on Abu Dhabi airport and storage facilities of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.
The Houthis stated that the attack was in retaliation for the UAE’s involvement in the war that has affected Yemen since 2014, when that group rose up in arms and occupied large parts of the country, among them Sanaa, the capital.
