Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesperson Yahya Sari said that this was an attack against the Emirati territory, which he described as a special operation.

Sari announced that he would provide more details in the coming hours, according to a Hispan TV report.

Earlier, Mohamad al-Bajiti, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, warned UAE authorities to stop their actions or, on the contrary, he warned, they would strike deep inside the neighboring country.

The UAE is part of a Saudi-led military coalition that carried out in March 2015 and still continues, a war against the Arab community’s poorest nation.
