France once again hits 360,000 Covid-19 record

Paris, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) France on Wednesday reported over 260,000 Covid-19 cases for the second day in a row, a pandemic that has left 249 casualties in the last 24 hours.

In its daily press briefing, the French Public Health Agency reported 361,719 cases, 6,430 less than those reported on Tuesday, as the disease marked an unprecedented number of infected ones, amid the spread of the Omicron variant.

According to the official source, Covid-19 reaches 126,305 deaths since the start in March 2020.

Regarding hospitalizations, 23,889 people are currently admitted, 518 more than those reported on Tuesday, 3,985 in ICUs, 16 more.
