According to a resolution issued by the Ministry, the health authorities requested the reduction of the number of employees in the work centers, especially among people over 60 years of age and with comorbidities.
The population was also asked that the return to social life and the educational or work environment after suffering the virus must be conditional on the confirmation that they the disease has been overcome and no risk of transmission is being posed.
The Ministry of Health also referred to the need to promote natural ventilation in work spaces, use a mask properly, protecting the nose, mouth and adjusting its contour to the face in a proper manner.
Finally, it recommended that employers request their workers to complete the vaccination schedule with three doses for all people over 18 years of age and an “optional” booster dose, which may be applied six months after receiving the third.
Since last December the country has been on an upward curve of infections caused by the Omicron variant, which became dominant.
The country reported 5,968 new infections with Covid-19 on Friday, raising the total number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic to 444,985.
