DNCD agents and the Navy tracked down the drug traffickers aboard a speedboat intercepted several nautical miles south of the coasts of barahona.

During the raid, two outboard motors, 24 fuel jugs, one cell phone, two backpacks with documents, a canvas and other evidence were seized. Local authorities determined that the drug traffickers arrived in Dominican shores from South America.
