Displaced people can return to their lands and homes and live without depending on international agencies, he said.

The Lebanese president issued those criteria during a meeting with Special Envoy of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for Syria Geir Pedersen.

Pedersen presented those data he obtained during his tour to find solutions to the crisis in Syria and expressed the appreciation by the world body and the international community for Lebanon’s effort in hosting those displaced on its territory.
