It also fulfilled its commitment to deliver polypropylene bags to the Empresa Nacional de la Sal (Ensal), the only mining company that extracts, processes and manufactures salt in Cuba for human and industrial consumption and an important import reducer.
Yohanka Martínez, head of production of the entity, said that Sarex has also fulfilled the contracts to manufacture utensils of different sizes for the charcoal industry, which is in high demand in several European countries.
He pointed out that if the Covid-19 pandemic is kept under control, the industry will be able to practically double its production by 2022.
