A spokesman for the Prosecutor’s Office reported that operations for the arrest of officers, soldiers and even students from military schools have been taking place since the early hours of Tuesday, simultaneously, in 63 of the 81 provinces of the country.
Following the failed coup attempt on July 16th, 2016, the Turkish courts sentenced 333 military and four civilians to life imprisonment for their participation in it.
In addition, more than 100,000 people have been detained so far on suspicion of their relations with Gulen, while some 130,000 government officials have lost their jobs.
