Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi said regional enemies do not tolerate Iraqi progress and promote sedition in the country.

Raeisi expressed his points of view during a telephone conversation with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi, a review of which was broadcast by HispanTV.

Tehran maintains a position of principles in support of the Arab country’s independence, security and sovereignty, he said.

In this regard, he expressed his support for any legal and transparent mechanism designed to resolve current problems and disputes derived from the results of past parliamentary elections.

In turn, al-Kazemi thanked Iran for its tireless assistance and support in ensuring stability and security in Iraq.
