In a press release, the delegation stated that the work is going well after eight years of waiting, as they had requested that visit in 2013 to then President Enrique Peña Nieto.
Now they have had the opportunity to meet with members of associations searching for missing persons and with authorities of the places they have visited.
The CED delegation, who arrived in the country on Monday for a long tour, consists of 10 independent experts from several countries, who monitor the measures implemented by the states to prevent this crime and repair the damage.
According to public records, more than 94,000 people were disappeared in Mexico, although unofficial sources double that figure and admit that the exact number is very difficult to know.
