The MINSAP report stated that 10,086,396 people have received at least one dose of Soberana 02 or Soberana Plus, from the Finlay Vaccine Institute, and Abdala (CIGB-66), from the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
Meanwhile, 9,113,394 citizens have a second shot. Up to that date, 8,224,393 citizens have received three doses and 8,679,636 have completed their vaccination scheme, representing 77.6 percent of a population of approximately 11,180,000 inhabitants.
The MINSAP stated that among those immunized are Covid-19 convalescents with more than two months of having suffered from the disease, to whom a single shot of Soberana Plus was administrated.
On the other hand, CNN television channel in the United States highlighted on Monday that Cuba tops the Latin American countries with the highest number of inhabitants with at least one dose of anti-Covid-19 vaccines administrated.
