As underlined in a statement sent to Prensa Latina, it is about “unworthy, media and mercenary provocation that a small faction is orchestrating to subvert peace in Cuba.”
They want to interfere on November 15 in the reopening of the school year and borders to international travelers, the association said, while expressing its support for the Cuban government “in all measures taken in order to safeguard peace and historical conquests that our heroic people have reached “.
On November 10, the Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez strongly rejected US interference in Cuba´s internal affairs and support for destabilizing attempts.
In a meeting with diplomatic corps accredited in Havana, the Cuban foreign minister warned his country will not allow persistent US aggressions and condemned its maneuvers recently worsened in favor of an internal destabilization, in order to harm social peace and affect celebrations.
On Sunday, the White House ratified its support for such destabilizing actions and also said it is “actively monitoring” what happens during the Nov. 15 march declared as unconstitutional by Cuban authorities.
