Havana, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Sunday claimed his country is peacefully perfecting its society, defending socialism and emancipation, after joining Cuban young people in an anti-imperialist sit-in at the Havana´s Central Park.

“Thank you so much for allowing me to share this piece of Sunday with you,” the Cuban president told representatives of the Cuban civil society, who have been holding concerts, poetry readings, speeches, screening of documentaries and book presentations since Nov. 12 to date.

The head of state stressed that Cuba strongly condemns US campaigns to subvert the country´s internal order, as well as the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States. “Cuba will live in peace, and living in peace we are going to improve ourselves,” he confirmed.
