The office’s website of the Ministry regretted the deaths of five patients due to complications related to the disease, a figure that now stands at 8,257, accounting for a death rate of 0.87 percent.

For the epidemiological monitoring, 22,857 samples were studied, totaling 10,623,961 samples, the report added.

In health centers, 3,057 active cases remain hospitalized, 2,983 of whom report a stable clinical evolution, 52 are in serious condition and 22 are critical, while 593 patients were discharged.
