In its weekly publication La Lettre Electronique Hebdo, the association framed the protests convened for November 15 in several Cuban provinces in the crusade to destroy the Revolution, this time disguised as an allegedly peaceful mobilization, although with the traditional support by anti-Cuba groups in Miami.
The association, founded in 1995, reminded its readers in France that since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959, that process has faced threats and actions by those who try to put an end to it.
For CubaCoop, the objectives of the so-called peaceful demonstrations are clear: ‘regime change, overthrow of the government and military intervention.’
Cuba has demonstrated with evidence the intentions and sources of financing this subversive initiative, it stressed in allusion to recent speeches by authorities to denounce the United States interference to incite violence and chaos.
Regarding the latest destabilizing maneuver against Cuba, the association, which has been involved in socioeconomic cooperation projects with Cuba over the last two decades, expressed confidence that those actions will fail, and highlighted the position that President Miguel Diaz-Canel set on Sunday.
