A report from the organizers of WTM, to be run on November 1-3 and one of the world’s largest leisure industry trade fairs, added that the heads of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) will be present.
The meeting is scheduled for November 2 and is the Summit of Ministers organized during the WTM London fair.
The aim is to establish a commitment to invest in the sector’s sustainable future, the sources stated.
For more than 10 years, the UNWTO and the WTM London have partnered to host a high-level summit, focused on key challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
This will be the second opportunity for ministers and the sector’s global leaders when the Covid-19 pandemic begins to subside, and it is an effectively platform to explore the best ways to collaborate, they insisted.
