During the meeting, which will follow up on tripartite alliance created in September at the UN General Assembly (UNGA), the three leaders will also tackle issues closely related to Covid-19, including actions to address present health crisis.
On September 22, Cortizo, Carlos Alvarado (Costa Rica) and Luis Abinader (Dominican Republic) signed the Alliance for the Strengthening of Democratic Institutionality, which aims to deal with aspects of common interest and priority for the foreign policy of the three nations.
The offical agenda includes a lunch time at Panama´s Presidency, which aims to promote economic growth through a relaunch of commercial, demographic and cultural ties on the basis of the defense of open societies, international law and a paradigm of green, fair, sustainable and inclusive development.
