Lima, Oct 14 (Prensa Latina) Peru's Prime Minister Mirtha Vasquez, called today for dialogue with the governing 'Peru Libre' party, after announcing that its parliamentarians will deny the ratification vote of confidence in Congress to the new ministerial cabinet.

‘There are parties, such as ‘Peru Libre’ with which we share many ideals, I think we have to change some attitudes and try dialogues,’ Vasquez expressed to State television.

She added, ‘both they and we are thinking of Peru, and I am sure that this will allow us to at least reach a minimum consensus.’

Regarding Peru Libre’s announcement that its legislators will not vote to ratify the ministerial cabinet installed a week earlier, the PM regretted that in the parties ‘sometimes good sense does not prevail.’

The prime minister added that, it is nowadays necessary to understand the stability of the State is absolutely needed to move the population forward, and attend to its health and education demands, but ‘we are getting involved in a series of processes that are not healthy.’

Concerning the statement of the ‘Peru Libre’ assembly that the entry of seven new ministers evidences a turn of the Castillo Government towards the center-right, Vasquez assured it does not correspond to reality.

‘Many of us who are in the cabinet have had a very important trajectory of social struggles and accompaniment to the population,’ the PM affirmed.
