Following the handover of hundreds of armed and fugitives, the military set points and began demining and combing operations in Jizah, Sayda, Nassib, Um al-Mayathen, al-Taybeh, al-Sanamayn, Kahil, Matahya and Nada.
These operations are aimed at fully ensuring the restoration of state institutions and the service infrastructure, national television reported.
Military sources cited by various local media indicated that to date around 8,500 people have been pardoned after voluntarily surrendering to authorities and laying down their weapons like automatic rifles, mortars, machine guns, RPG missiles and different types of ammunition.
To date, some thirty towns in Deraa have been liberated from terrorism thanks to the implementation of a reconciliation agreement with Russian mediation, which stipulates the normalization of the status of those who lay down their weapons, the departure of terrorists to the north of Syria and the establishment of the State authority.
