Israel has killed 330 Palestinians and wounded 15,700 in 2021

Ramallah, Oct 9 (Prensa Latina) The Israeli army has killed 330 Palestinians and wounded some 15,700 from the beginning of the year until October 4, a United Nations agency denounced on Saturday.

In its biweekly report, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) noted that 264 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, the majority during the 11-day attacks in May, and 66 in the West Bank.

Likewise, the number of injured people in the West Bank and the coastal strip, where more than two million people live, total 13,401 and 2,300, respectively.

During that period, 15 Israelis lost their live and 1,033 were wounded by Palestinian actions, it stated.

OCHA noted that from September 21 to October 4, the Israeli army killed nine Palestinians and wounded 328.

The UN agency highlighted that in the first nine months of 2021, Israeli soldiers demolished 674 Palestinian structures, causing the displacement of 944 people.
