Gonzalez, who is a Tourism adviser at the Cuban Embassy in France, described the result of Cuba’s participation in the fair that ended on Friday as very positive, during an interview with Prensa Latina.
The forum brought together more than 34,000 delegates from several countries.
During the four days of the 42nd edition of Top Resa 2021 we saw the interest in our country by tour operators, travel agents and the public in general who visited the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles in Paris, as well as the joy for the opportunity to be able to plan trips again, she said.
According to Gonzalez, not only in Cuba’s stand -managed by the Tourism Office at the Embassy in Paris and the Havanatur tour operator- but also at the meetings with tourism professionals, participants in this fair were informed of the gradual reopening of tourism in Cuba as of November 15.
After a year and a half of limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the interest in Cuba from airlines, agencies and individuals is still present, despite the complex scenario caused by the health crisis, which suggests a gradual recovery, she said.
Gonzalez told Prensa Latina that Top Resa 2021 once again showed Cuba as a safe and very attractive destination for French citizens, who are lovers of circuits, culture and contact with the population.
