The ‘Together for Cuba’ YouTube channel promotes the event ‘by and for Cubans living abroad’, in greeting to the Week of the Culture of Cuba and ‘in homage to those men and women who have written pages of glory in our history,’ the organizers said.

‘All Cubans of good will, those who love and build, those who do their part of the duty, the grateful, we are called to put our hearts to (Cuba), which is a beacon of light on the horizon,’ the call stated.

The coordinator of Conaci, Ada Galano, made statements to Prensa Latina stressing the relevance of the meeting as a genuine expression of Cubans residing anywhere in the world, determined to defend the independence and sovereignty of their homeland.

She pointed out that the objective is to unite Cubans and show that in the world there are those born in Cuba ‘that we are willing to do anything for their homeland, that we will always support the Revolution and defend it wherever we are.’
