After measures to face Covid-19, approved by the Temporary Work Group, were made more flexible, spaces dedicated to commercial and gastronomic operations will favor the increase in tourism from November 15.
According to Radio Agramonte website, the work in the sector along with the Ministry of Health facilitates the restart of operations.
Liliana Ollet, communication specialist for Santa María company, explained to the portal that ‘a rigorous inspection process was jointly carried out with health authorities, which led to the decision to open gastronomical facilities with natural ventilation and tables at a distance of two meters in between’.
Other requirements, specialists declared, are also the disinfection of surfaces, hygiene in internal processes and the limitation of some types of services prone to closer contact.
Standing out among the commercial places are: La Estación, La Bigornia, El Rincón de la Música, El Bodegón Don Cayetano, El Cine Café, El Café Ciudad, all of them located in downtown Camaguey, declared World Heritage Site.
Camagüey, one of the first villages founded by the Spanish in Cuba, stands out for its historical and cultural riches turning it into one of main destinations for city tourism in the country.
