They are distributed among 60 food facilities, 65 engineering plants, 45 chemical industries and 81 textile factories, the Ministry stated in a report on its website.
Of 33,993 industrial plants in northern Aleppo province, 17,227 are in the production phase, while 183 are in the reconstruction process, the Ministry added.
The report revealed that the number of new facilities this year has increased twofold compared to the same period in 2020. This increase is due to the facilities offered to industrialists and traders, in addition to issuing new legislations encouraging investment.
According to recent data published by the Ministry, more than 80,000 public and private industrial plants are in the production phase in Syria.
Syria has recovered thousands of industrial facilities, particularly in Aleppo, after large regions of the country were liberated from terrorists.
