During a meeting in this capital, members of those organizations also condemned the terrorist attacks on Cuba organized and carried out with the support from Washington.
They also criticized the actions against Cuba promoted within the European Union (EU).
According to Cuban Ambassador to Hungary Alicia Elvira Corredera, she presented a statement from the National People’s Power Assembly to denounce the organization by a small group of European parliamentarians of a debate on Cuba in supports of the aggressive escalation of sanctions by the White House.
Corredera explained that the discussion and approval of a new resolution against Cuba in the European Parliament is a flagrant interference in the internal affairs of her country and contradicts the position of respectful dialogue held by the EU.
The meeting with the members of the League is part of events being held in Hungary in the context of the 5th ‘We have memory’ Solidarity Day.
