The prosecutor of the Economic Criminal Court, Claudio Navas Rial, put the magnifying glass to the former officials of the Macri administration amid investigations into the scandalous case uncovered shortly over a month ago by the Bolivian government, which involves Macri and several members of the administration for sending military material to the then de facto government of Jeanine Añez.
Likewise, the former Secretary of Strategic Affairs, Fulvio Pompeo, was also indicted in this new extension of the original complaint filed last week by officials of the current government, who found more elements against those involved in the case.
Former President Macri, together with other former officials such as the former Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, and the former Defense Minister, Oscar Aguad, are being investigated today for aggravated smuggling, while more documents and material of the direct participation of his administration in the shipment of ammunition to repress the demonstrations after the coup d’état against former President Evo Morales are still coming to light.
