On a message after receiving the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine against Covid-19, the president called on ‘Peruvians who do not think like us’ to help the executive beyond supervising the officials appointed by the new administration inaugurated on July 28.
The head of State ensured to make a timely and permanent follow-up of the appointed ministers and that no official will be allowed to steal a penny.
Recalling his commitment to support the works of regional and municipal governments, Castillo warned governors and mayors that they must finish the vaccination in their jurisdictions before requesting such support.
‘I have come to receive the Sinopharm vaccine because I have faith not only in this vaccine but in all’ those acquired by the State, he added in obvious allusion to the conservative campaign against China’s antigen.
The Minister of Health Hernando Cevallos pointed out that the vaccine has an efficacy of over 90 percent, proven by its application to all Peruvian medical personnel and endorsed by the World Health Organization and various scientific centers in the world.
