The United States increased its attacks against the island with a systematic and multi-million dollar campaign coordinated on social media, through fake news, pointed out a statement from such organization, which is a member of the World Peace Council.

The AIPSO document, to which Prensa Latina had access, stressed that the United States intensified the blockade against Cuba when the pandemic broke out, in an effort to ruin the Cuban economy and destabilize the Caribbean nation.

Despite these conditions, Cuba is the only country in the region with capacity to develop its own Covid-19 vaccines and is at the forefront of the international solidarity in times of the pandemic.

Cuba has been subjected to an inhumane economic blockade and covert aggressions of all kinds by the United States for 60 years, the text added.

AIPSO greeted the heroic Cuban people and the Revolution that, despite the genocidal siege for several decades, have been capable of guaranteeing the universal access to high standards of free medical care, education, social security, sports, music and culture.
