Three soldiers lost their lives in the attack against their position in the desert town of Rasafeh, located in the southern province of Raqa, 450 kilometers northeast of the capital of the country, the national radio station Sham FM reported.
Following the action, Syrian and Russian fighter jets bombed the supply routes of terrorists from the Taneh area in eastern Syria where the largest US military base in the desert is located.
Syria and Russia denounced on several occasions that the United States forces present illegally in the national territory train and transfer extremists to use them in attacks against Army positions and civilian communities in this region.
The recent attacks in that area, according to the reports, are planned and made easier by the US military that provides weapons and intelligence information to terrorists from their base in Tanef in order to destabilize and prolong the war in this Levant nation.
