Biden will speak at a public transportation facility in La Crosse, a city in western Wisconsin, where he will try to ‘sell’ a project to invest some 48.5 billion dollars in public transportation to public opinion, one of his actions that many think is aimed at voters with a view to win the mid-term elections in November 2022.
The president told a virtual fundraising dinner on Monday that the infrastructure package would create millions of good-paying jobs and help US businesses to compete in the global economy.
The White House chief also pledged to continue to fight for additional spending that would expand child care and paid leaves to more US citizens and offer two years of free community college to those who qualify.
